It's been quite the journey taking on the mighty Atlantic, but also quite the experience.  A lot of time on the ocean, we're currently 1200 knm into this passage for a total of 3641knm when we arrive Fernando.  I have finished a book lot's of cooking and organizing and boat maintenance. We changed the oil in both diesel engines while underway which was interesting but fun.  We will be arriving to the island of Fernando de Naranja on Saturday around midday. Looking forward to exploring this beautiful island it's supposed to be absolutely amazing.  The water temp is almost 80 degrees and the water is the most beautiful deep blue with every mile that clicks by we can feel the tropical paradise getting closer.  The flying fish are everywhere, they take suicide missions onto the boat daily.  One little bugger made it thru my open hatch and landed in my sink!!! Thx Jeff!!! lol. Also can't forget the wonderful blueberry muffins made by Angela..

We left St.Helena on schedule heading for the island of Fernando de Noronha Archipelago in Brazil this will be a 10-12 day sail with one little stop to fish lol, which went very well. We landed three and three quarter yellow fin tuna as the big sharks were a little hungry.  We had to reorganize all the freezers and refrigerators to store all the fish.  They weighed between 50-80 pounds. Winds are light so we have had to do some motoring but it makes for very nice seas.  Look forward to updating you on our crossing.

Our last morning on St. Helena was taken up by checking out with immigration and port control.  We did some last minute provisioning and securing of the boat. Lastly we hiked Jacobs Ladder 699 steps straight up what a climb. We will head to sea at 4 p.m. so we wake up on the fishing grounds a bank called The Bonaparte sea Mount. Can't wait to see how we do.St. Helena was amazing the people were wonderful and I forgot to mention the Remembrance Day parade on Sunday, what a blast celebrating with all the locals.

What a beautiful Island, we had the pleasure of exploring today which was amazing.  We got to visit Napoleon's tomb and his house he was exiled to. The history was amazing. Also, we got to see Johnathan the oldest living land animal at 192 years young.  Today we're heading to egg Island about 5 miles away to try our hand at catching some Tuna and Wahoo. I will keep you updated on how we do, if no luck today on our way to the island of Fernando on Monday there is a famous high spot known for Big Tuna and Wahoo.  Jonathan is housed at the Governors Mansion which is beautiful picture added. Also, we see signs all around the towns and love the sayings.

Well not many Tricker Treaters last night but oh well.  The seas have been beautiful and we are cruising along nicely. Hit a nice rain storm last night which was much needed to help with the salt build up on the boat. Hope everyone has great football Saturday. The Tuna LOL
